It's an organ that receives blood from coronary vessels and supplies the body organs with oxygenated blood through aorta. At the same time, it carries deoxygenated blood from body parts to the heart through vena cava.

ReplyDelete2- the main difference between the pulmonary artery and aorta is the blood they carry, where the pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood, coming from the organs, to the lungs where they get oxygenated while the aorta carries oxygenated blood that comes from the lungs to supply all the body organs.
